Hi, I'm Jessie!
I'm the founder of Ocean Threads, a swimwear brand inspired by my love for the ocean, thoughtful design, and wanting to help women just like me feel their best. Growing up, I always felt most at home in the water. As a former competitive swimmer, the ocean has always been a place where I feel grounded, inspired, and connected. When I moved to Southern California, that connection only grew stronger and became the inspiration behind Ocean Threads. What started as an idea quickly became and obsession. I spent countless hours researching fabrics, refining fits, and learning every part of the product development process from the ground up. I didn't have experience in the swimwear industry, I just had a vision and a willingness to figure it out.
Today, Ocean Threads is built on the belief that beautiful swimwear should be timeless, thoughtfully made, and designed to be worn season after season. Every collection is created with intention, using premium recycled fabrics and a focus on quality, comfort, sustainability, and effortless style. Thank you for being here and supporting this dream. How It’s Made
Every Ocean Threads piece begins long before it's sewn. Our fabric starts as discarded materials that are transformed into swimwear designed to be worn and loved for seasons to come.
1. Recover
ECONYL® recovers discarded fishing nets, fabric scraps, and other nylon waste from oceans and landfills around the world, giving these materials a second life instead of letting them become pollution.

2. Regenerate
The recovered nylon is cleaned and regenerated into high-quality ECONYL® regenerated nylon yarn—a process that creates a material with the same performance and quality as virgin nylon.

3. Craft
Carvico then transforms this regenerated yarn into premium Italian swim fabric that's exceptionally soft, durable, and designed to move with you. The result is a luxurious fabric that feels incredible against your skin while helping reduce waste.

4. Create
Our manufacturing partners carefully cut and sew each Ocean Threads piece in small batches, allowing us to focus on quality, craftsmanship, and reducing unnecessary overproduction.
